Jason Kipnis looks to continue power surge into 2017

Morning news and notes for Tuesday, January 31, 2017.

Tomorrow is the first day of February, which means that baseball will be back very soon! While the sting of Game 7 isn’t completely gone, it is slowly being replaced by the excitement of a new season that looms closer every day. I’m not sure if I’ll make it out to Arizona for Spring Training this year, but I’m hoping to get back to Progressive Field at some point this season.

The main difference was his enhanced ability to turn on inside pitches, which helped him to continue to drive the ball to the opposite field with consistency and authority.
