Josh Tomlin somehow starting meaningful September game against Royals

What better than another game of Cowboys and Monarchs to get the blood pressure rising?

Cleveland Indians vs. Kansas City Royals

Where: Progressive Field, at the corner of Carnegie & Ontario

When: Tuesday, September 20, 2016; 7:10 PM

How: TV - STO; radio - WTAM

Today, the Indians kick off their 2nd last home series and 4th last series of the regular season. It's the home stretch, and somehow we find Josh Tomlin making meaningful starts. But maybe this isn't the baseball gods smiting Cleveland so much as it is them testing the Indians.

And what better test than the damn Royals, who always seem to be a pain in the side? But while we lament that we have to rely on Tomlin to start games like these, remember also that opposing starting Edinson Volquez once started Game 1 of the World Series. Anything is possible! LGT.
