Welcome back Danny!
Danny Salazar returns to the mound Thursday evening to face off against the Chicago White Sox. Salazar has been on the disabled list since August 2 due to right elbow inflammation. The right-hander is 11-4 on the year, with a 3.38 ERA and 133 strikeouts in just 117 1/3 innings.
The White Sox will turn to their exciting young starter, Carlos Rodon. The left-hander was an uber prospect before his call-up last year to Chicago, but has struggled some early in his big league career. Rodon is just 3-8 this year with a 4.32 ERA.
