Salazar get the start while Indians offense hopes to score on Gonzalez

Lonnie Chisenhall and Tyler Naquin will sit against the tough lefty, making it that much more difficult to amass runs.

After a not-quite-disastrous-but-still-pretty-gross road trip, The Prog is a sight for sore eyes. The Indians will play 20 of their next 25 games here, starting with tonight's matchup featuring co-ace Danny Salazar. Salazar will take on Gio Gonzalez in what appears to be the more winnable game of this two-game series. Though Carlos Carrasco will take the mound tomorrow, he'll have to contend with Stephen Strasburg, so the Indians would be wise to get to Gonzalez early and often tonight.

Unfortunately, Gonzalez happens to throw with his left hand, which means the Tribe lineup will be missing Lonnie Chisenhall and Tyler Naquin. Doesn't seem to be the best strategy, in my opinion - not sure how Abraham Almonte's .588 OPS against LHP is preferable to having Chiz or Naquin in the lineup, but whatevs. We'll see how it goes. LGT!
