According to Buster Olney, the Cleveland Indians are currently in talks with the Milwaukee Brewers about a possible deal for catcher Jonathan Lucroy.
Sources: CLE in talks for MIL's Jonathan Lucroy. Perhaps Brantley's situation has pushed them to add a hitter & consider upgrade at catcher.

There's been some hand wringing here at Let's Go Tribe about whether or not an addition at catcher is necessary with Roberto Perez returning. For a while we assumed that Perez taking over catching duties meant that Yan Gomes would step into the backup role. With the separation of Gomes' AC joint, that is no longer the case.
If the Indians did make the move, what might it look like?

This aims to fix two spots often referred to as weaknesses for the Tribe in exchange for promising starting pitching prospects. Will Smith entered the season with the chance to be the Brewer's co-closer, but he tore his LCL taking off his shoe earlier in the season.
It may be a bit too juicy to be realistic, however. To date, Lucroy is hitting .305/.362/.494 with a bWAR of 2.3.
