After one depressing loss and one win that almost turned into a depressing loss, the Cleveland Indians come into today's game looking to win the series against the Kansas City Royals. Not only would be nice to win two-out-of-three to start the second half of the season, but beating the Royals is always extra fun. Because they are the Royals.

As with yesterday, game time temperatures are going to be brutal -- it is expected to reach as high as 96 degrees. Luckily, the Indians are getting out of town before tomorrow when temperatures are projected to hit triple digits. Because of the high temperatures, the National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for the entirety of Jackson County, Missouri that lasts until Saturday.

Oh, and in case you forgot: The Indians have the best record in the AL.
