Indians vs Royals
Friday, June 3, 2016, 7:10 PM ET, Progressive Field
TV: STO, MLBTV
Radio: WTAM
The Indians try to win their third game in a row, believe it or not.
Tonight's pitching matchup pits Edinson Volquez against Danny Salazar. Volquez has been one of the two constants on the Kansas City pitching staff (along with Ian Kennedy), while Salazar leads the Indians in WAR (2.6), and even after what has to be termed a mediocre outing (for him), still ranks among the American League's best pitchers in several categories (2nd in WAR, 3rd in FIP, 1st in strikeouts/9). It should be a low-scoring game. And now that I've typed that, I fully expect to be recapping a 10-8 game three hours from now.
