Trevor Bauer on the mound as Indians seek tenth straight victory

If you're wondering, the franchise record is 13, achieved in 1942 and 1951

Tonight, the Indians send Trevor Bauer to strike down the Braves and claim their tenth-consecutive win. Nothing is impossible. Anything can be achieved.

Corey Kluber originally had tonight's start, but Terry Francona bumped him back today. Remember, the Indians are in a National League stadium, so pitchers will hit. With any luck at all Bauer will imitate some of his teammates once more.

John Gant gets the start for the Braves tonight, the fourth of his young career. The Mets took Gant out of Wiregrass Ranch High School (I grew up in Florida but no, I do not understand the naming conventions) in the 21st round of the 2011 draft. Only recently did he begin to climb prospect boards, and our friends at Minor League Ball say, "[H]e should not be underestimated."
