The Cleveland Indians Twitter just dropped some fantastic news for fans across the universe:
Good news from the clubhouse: @Cookie_Carrasco will start Thursday night in our series opener against the Royals. pic.twitter.com/talaE7YPc6

Cookie is back! Carlos Carrasco will make his first start for the Cleveland Indians since he left early with a hamstring injury on April 24th. Prior to going on the DL, Carrasco was looking like a true ace; in 22 innings for the Tribe this year, Carrasco has only given up 6 runs alongside 5 walks and 20 strikeouts (good for an ERA+ of 182). Getting pre-injury Carrasco back into the rotation for the Cleveland Indians could be huge, especially with the fight for the AL Central being as close as it is.
Earlier today, Ryan Merritt was sent back to Triple-A. With Carrasco back in the picture, this move makes more sense. Welcome back, Carlos!
