This weekend was a let down.  Losing two of three to the struggling Twins wasn't in the script.  Well, at least we've got a exciting week ahead of us.  There's no rest days for the Tribe, with four games against the Reds and a three game set at Fenway to face the Red Sox.  Let's Go Tribe!

Twins 5, Indians 1

The Twins Tyler Duffyaffectionately known as the Duff Mansmothered the Tribe's offense in another frustrating loss to the last-place Twins.  Searching for positives, Trevor Bauer pitched well and, pretty much as he always does, at times wowed us with his filthy arsenal of pitches.  Also,  Jason Kipnis homered for the Indians only run.

Anderson thinks trip to pen will help him as starter |

Even though he gave up a game-winning home run in his relief appearance, Anderson took some positives from the outing and thinks it will help him in the long run.  From Hoynes:

Anderson returns to the rotation Monday when the Indians open a two-game interleague series against Cincinnati at 6:10 p.m. at Progressive Field. This will be Anderson's second start since he was recalled from Class AAA Columbus on May 7 and his sixth of the season.

"I felt like I had a little more tempo inside my delivery," said Anderson, referring to his appearance against Houston. "I've been trying to be way too fine. It really helped me coming out of the bullpen and getting that rhythm back and the feel of just throwing the ball."
