Indians look to rebound against Twins as Michael Brantley returns

Last night's loss was embarrassing, and it'd do the team a lot of good to break out a dominant win tonight. The Return of Dr. Smooth should help!

It has been a frustrating couple of days. First, we find out that Carlos Carrasco is going to miss 4-6 weeks with a strained hamstring, then we lose a game thanks to a walk-off homer. Against the GD Twins. So not a great start to this series after a triumphant sweep of the Motor City Kitties.

If we're to have any hope of rebounding and winning this trainwreck of a series, were going to need Cody Anderson to have a better outing than his last one, when he got lit up by the Mariners and left the game before finishing the 4th inning. As bad as that Seattle lineup one was, this Twins lineup sucks even worse. If Cody can't hold them to a few runs, well... I don't know what that says about his prospects in the majors. It's early in the season, yes, but the Indians absolutely have to start crushing teams like the Twins if they want to be taken seriously as playoff contenders.

Anyway, enough angry ranting. The good news is that Michael Brantley is back and making his first start of the season tonight. Welcome back, Dr. Smooth, and LGT!
