Indians news & notes: On Cody Anderson's improvement and MLB's game in Cuba

Do not adjust your LEDs... MLB did in fact play a game in Cuba. Maybe they'll bring us back an outfielder?

The Indians did not play yesterday. Fortunately, Jeff Sullivan provided us with more optimism about one of our pitchers than any spring training game could have. But first, we check in with Mr. Dolan:

Cody Anderson is, essentially, Matt Harvey.

This one comes from Jeff Sullivan and is really super awesome. Cody's added velocity this spring and it appears that it's a real thing and not just #SpringTrainingSpeak.

• Andre Ethier is out 10-14 weeks with a tibia fracture. There goes one of my favorite trade targets. The silver lining for Ethier is that this gets him his 10 and 5 rights.

• MLB players played a game in Cuba yesterday. President Obama was there! Kevin Kiermaier was there! Derek Jeter was there! Ok, maybe that last one isn't very exciting. But whatever. This seems like it would have been awesome to watch.

• If LGFT David Murphy doesn't make the Red Sox, he could retire. Or end up in Philly. Same thing, essentially.
