New Indians Farm Director brings football experience to baseball

Morning News and Notes, December 31, 2016

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

It's New Year's Eve, so it's time to look back on 2016 and look forward to better things in 2017. 2016 will be remembered for a gutsy team that defied injuries and expecations to make an amazing post-season run after most of baseball counted them out. 2016 also brought an inside-the-park game-winning home run from an imrprobable rookie of he year candidate as well as a Party at Napoli's.

What was your favorite moment of 2016? And what are your baseball resolutions for 2017? Mine, of course, are to trust the process, bow the neck and keep grinding.
