False alarm everybody. Chief Wahoo is staying on the Tribe's hats. The slow retirement of the Chief remains slow.

Cleveland Indians will keep Chief Wahoo on home and away caps for 2017 | cleveland.com - Despite reports to the contrary, Chief Wahoo will appear on the team's caps (blue hat, red bill) when they wear their home white uniforms. Chief Wahoo will also appear on the team's hats (blue caps, blue bills) when they wear their alternate road uniforms - blue tops, gray pants.
