As suddenly as the World Series ended, the 2016-2017 offseason began. The Cleveland Indians got things started by picking up Carlos Santana’s $12 million option for next season and the Detroit Tigers really turned on the hot stove by dealing Cameron Maybin to the Los Angeles Angels.
