Indians Terry Francona named Manager of the Year while the rest of the division could be "selling"

Personally, I'd be fine with the Indians being in the same division as a couple AAA teams next year.

Oh, what the heck, I'll see if a photo like this of Tito and Dave exists ... IT DOES!

The Major League Baseball offseason continues on today—and even though there were tweets a few days ago about teams hurrying to sign players because of the possibility of a work stoppage, nothing is really happening in terms of free agent signings. However, there is some news to report:

• Terry Francona was named AL Manager of the Year for the second time in 4 years. Speaking of Mr. Francona, this is an extremely enjoyable read on how Andre Knott interacts with Terry.

• Over in the Inferior League, Dave Roberts was the MOTY choice.

• The Tigers and Giants are discussing a JD Martinez trade. Music to our ears. Get that dude out of this division!

• Chris Sale could be headed to the Atlanta Braves (!?) which would seemingly weaken the AL Central even more in 2017. Great farm!

• Mike Montgomery "had nothing" when pitching the Cubs to their final World Series out. Which is totally fine, because you don't need anything in order to get out Michael Martinez. #MMMM

• Dave Cameron has picked 5 free agents that he thinks will get paid too much money by professional baseball teams this winter.

• Bench coach news! The Astros hired Alex Cora to be theirs.

• Jose Abreu and Yasiel Puig had the option of opting into arbitration. Abreu did, but Puig did not.
