Francisco Lindor refuses to let the ground ruin a perfectly good birthday cake

After his brother dropped it, the Indians shortstop gobbled it up like a routine grounder.

Cleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor is already one of the most exciting players in baseball, and he just turned 23 years old today. How did he decide to celebrate? By eating cake that his brother dropped on the ground.

The most miraculous thing to me is that the cake somehow slides off of the tray and lands on its bottom, leaving the candles perfectly intact. While this might still give some pause, the thing looks absolutely delicious.

If you're not still entirely convinced that Lindor made the right decision, the Indians official team twitter weighed in with a little-known baseball fact.

It is settled, then. Francisco Lindor did nothing wrong.
