Unfortunately, because the baseball gods are cruel, Cleveland is due for a downpour at almost exactly 8:00 p.m. tomorrow. So, even with the early start time, expect some kind of delay or at least a lot of the game being played in rain.
Weather.com has an 80 percent chance of rain Wednesday evening, while Google has 34 percent at eight o’clock and peaking at 70 percent around 11:00 p.m. ET and continuing into the early hours of Thursday morning.
After that, things move back to Chicago for the weekend, but there should not be any weather interruptions. At worst, tomorrow’s game will end up being suspended or delayed outright and the two teams will have to play an extra game down the road.
