Here we are.

Today they Indians take on the Royals in what might be the last game of the 2016 season. Depending on results in this game, Boston's, and Detroit's, the Indians will find out whether or not they're headed to Detroit for one more game.

Josh Tomlin trots out to the mound and faces off against Ian Kennedy. But Terry doesn't mind if he doesn't win the game; he's got a playoff spot, he's doing all right. He can juggle schedule swaps like anything, saving it up for Thursday night against the Red Sox. Many of the other teams in baseball are in dire straits, facing do-or-die scenarios. It will be tricky to follow all of the action today because every game starts at the same time today to avoid collusion. I think? I don't really know why, but I do know that it will make it tricky to listen to Scully call his last game in real time.

I have a lot more words lined up for the recap, and I'll try to save them for that. For now, let's hope that the following guys can be the Sultans of Swing today.
