Baseball Tonight's 2015 desk calendar is loaded with errors

News & notes for January 1, 2016

Just in case you forgot they existed for five minutes, the Los Angeles Dodgers closed out 2016 by agreeing to sign another player. This time, it is a pitcher still not named Zach Greinke. Also, the Baseball Tonight calendar is full of errors and Bryce Harper was named ESPN's Person of the Year.

Happy New Year!

State of Let's Go Tribe

  • talonk is currently working his way through first-time eligible Hall of Fame players and assessing their chances of making it into the hall. Four of you, at the time of this writing, already voted 'No' on Griffey so I don't trust your judgement anyway, but the posts are all great breakdowns.

  • The voting is still technically open on Let's Go Tribe's No. 2 Indians prospect for 2016, but Clint Frazier is going to win by a landslide. I thought, based on the chatter in the first thread, that the vote might be a little closer between him and Clevinger but that clearly was not the case. From No. 3 it should be open season, though.

  • Thank you to everyone for participating and helping creating the LGT phrase book. I'm going to leave it alone for a few days, then pimp it out on social media again before I get all the phrases together in one post.

  • And most importantly, as we leave 2015 behind, thank you so much for all the support over the last year. Thank you to everyone who has read the site, commented, followed us on social media, anything. These seven months I've been writing (and two running the joint) have been amazing and I look forward to a great 2016.
