Indians turn to Cody Anderson in series opener against the White Sox

It's go time in the Indians chase for the second American League Wild Card, and tonight the Tribe faces off against White Sox ace Chris Sale. Sale has been a little more up and down this year than was expected, but still enters with a 3.55 ERA and an amazing 250 strikeouts on the year. The left-hander has been hit hard lately, owning a 0-2 record and a 5.01 ERA over his last four starts.

Cleveland turns to Cody Anderson, who has been excellent since returning from the disabled list. Anderson is 2-0 over those three post DL starts, allowing just four earned runs over 18 2/3 innings. On the year, Anderson is 4-3 with a 3.68 ERA.
