Let's go for .500... again.

Playoff hopes or no playoff hopes, it feels like the Cleveland Indians have spent a large part of 2015 just trying to break even. Their hottest streaks were building up to a potential .500 bid, and their worst moments took them several steps back. Now, with their playoff chances plummeting with every loss, they look to get back to that mythical .500 record against the Kansas City Royals tonight.

Danny Salazar will be leading the charge from the mound, but he has not looked like his usual dominant self over his last two starts. Both starts came against the Detroit Tigers, and both starts saw Salazar allowing three or more runs, and striking out three or fewer batters. Should Salazar -- and the Indians -- hope to be successful against the Royals, it will require the starter to be on point against the devastating Kansas City lineup.
