How did the 2015 Cleveland Indians acquire their top minor league players?

Thursday we reviewed how each member of the Indians was acquired, a series of transactions that dates back nearly 40 years. tToday we look at the Columbus Clippers, Akron RubberDucks, and Lynchburg Hillcats players.

We say hello to a new three-chain member in Rob Kaminsky, picked up in the Brandon Moss deal. Moss was picked up for Joe Wendle, who was just a single-chain player. We did lose one five-chain player in Josh Outman.

You can see a lot of minor league free agents here. This is very common, especially in AAA. I did want to give a shout out to Ryan Rohlinger though, who has been an organizational "soldier" since 2012. I don't suspect he'll be back in 2016 however.

Notes: I have included compensation draft picks as being more than one degree as the Indians obtained that pick based on a player they formally held rights to. Also, when I have identified a free agent year, it is the year they signed for (i.e. December 11 would be 2012). Additionally, whenever I could not find confirmation of an amateur free agent signing, the year defaults to their first appearance. [aFA = amateur free agent, mFA = minor league free agent]
