Despite the big win yesterday, the Cleveland Indians playoff chances did not improve. They still sit five games from the second Wild Card spot in the American League, and they still have a big uphill battle over the next month. A win today (and, I don’t know, maybe 20 more in a row) will make that climb to the playoffs just a little easier.

On the mound for the task will be the Tribe’s half-man, half-robot, half-bear ace, Corey Kluber. The Klubot beep booped his way through the Chicago Cubs in his last outing, striking out 11 batters and allowing only one run on four hits in seven and two-thirds innings.

Will the Indians keep hitting with runners in scoring position? Will Carlos Santana keep proving that his doubters were probably wrong all along? How many times will Terry Francona give up an out with a pointless bunt? We will find out at 7:10 p.m. EST.
