As mentioned earlier today, Jason Kipnis is battling a sore throwing shoulder, so he's out of the lineup today. I guess you could see it coming given that he's been DHIng this weekend, and with a day game today Terry Francona wasn't going to push things. With the Indians out of contention, there's no reason to keep Kipnis in the lineup if the shoulder is bothering him, although the offense will be even more painful to watch.
