Carlos Carrasco is the Cleveland Indians last hope as they take on Chris Sale and White Sox

Kipnis getting an off day.

The Cleveland Indians will try to salvage this four-game series (and the offense) against Chicago White Sox ace Chris Sale. Who knows? Crazier things have happened. The Tribe will attempt to take a game away from one of the league's best pitcher without their usual leadoff man, Jason Kipnis. Mike Aviles will be taking the leadoff and second base duties as Kipnis gets a well-deserved off day.

A loss tonight would make it the Tribe’s third consecutive failure, and also put the White Sox at 45-50 – also known as ahead of the Indians in the AL Central. If the game does get out of hand early, the more interesting thing to watch will be if Carlos Carrasco gets pulled early and starts getting hugged in the dugout.
