Indians vs. Orioles
Saturday, June 6, 2015, 4:10 ET
TV: STO - Radio: WTAM
The Indians have had two chances to get back to .500 this week, but lost them both. If they want a third opportunity on Sunday, they'll have to win today first. Danny Salazar will take the ball for the Tribe, and he'll be opposed by a familiar face, Baltimore's Ubaldo Jimenez, who spent a couple years in Cleveland, including a very successful 2013, when his strong finish was a major factor in the team winning a spot in the Wild Card Game. Jimenez had a dreadful 2014 (after the Orioles signed him to a big contract), but he's pitched well so far this year.
The Indians have hit pretty well of late, but that didn't happen in Friday night's series opener. Salazar is capable of keeping any team at bay, but more often he gets bitten by the long ball at some point, so the Tribe should plan on scoring a few runs this afternoon. Ending the week at .500 would be great, but today comes before tomorrow on the calendar.
