Game Thread: Indians try to avoid sweep at the hands of the Tampa Bay Rays

Cody Anderson will make his MLB debut as he joins the rotation after just two starts at AAA.

After scoring a grand total of two runs in the first two games of this weekend series, the Indians hope to have better luck against Alex Colome, who has allowed six runs to the Washington Nationals in his last start. Colome has a high ERA (5.14), but most of his starts have been pretty good.

Cody Anderson recovered from a poor 2014 season, and now he's in the majors. Two weeks ago Anderson was in Akron's rotation, and now he's going in Cleveland's rotation for the foreseeable future. Injuries have made Anderson really the only option, at least until TJ House and Josh Tomlin are healthy (and that's not going to be for a while).
