Cleveland Indians vs Tampa Bay Rays

Friday, June 19, 7:10 ET, Progressive Field

Radio: WTAM

The Cleveland Indians will get to see a familiar face this weekend, as former bullpen coach Kevin Cash returns to town with his Tampa Bay Rays team. The Rays have surprised this year, more than holding their own in the powerful American League East. In fact, Tampa Bay currently is one game up on the Yankees and two games up on the Blue Jays in the East.

Cash will turn to young right-hander Nate Karns for Friday's night game. Karns is 3-3 on the year with a 3.67 ERA and has never pitched to any player on the Indians' roster.

The Tribe will hand the ball to right-hander Carlos Carrasco. Carrasco is 8-5 on the year and has recorded a win in four of his last five starts.
