The Indians will turn to Danny Salazar in game one of their series in Detroit against the Tigers. Salazar is 6-1 on the year, with a 3.50 ERA and 81 strikeouts in just 61.2 innings. He's coming off a sparkling ten strikeout performance against Baltimore last Saturday, giving up just one run over seven innings.

Detroit counters with lefty David Price, who enters with a 5-2 record and a 2.70 ERA. The 29 year old Price has given up just three earned runs in his last 23.2 innings of work.

The Indians are just 1-5 against the Tigers this year (Salazar earned the Tribe's only win). The Tigers enter with a 31-29 record, 2.5 games ahead of the Indians.
