Cleveland Indians pick four more pitchers on day 2 of the 2015 MLB Draft

Here's a recap of the Tribe's day two selections...

Peter G. Aiken-USA TODAY Sports

After selecting three high school pitchers during Monday's first two rounds, the Indians were back at it Tuesday for rounds three through ten.  Here's a look at the Tribe's day two picks:

3rd Round -- Mark Mathias, 2B

Mathias is a bigger middle infielder, listed at 6'0", 200 lbs, who stands out offensively but dealt with shoulder issues throughout his 2015 season.   A college junior from Cal Poly, Mathias hits from the right side and batted .356 this year.  He  hasn't shown a ton of power (only hit 1 home run this year) but scouts believe he has the strength to add some power in the future.

4th Round -- Tyler Krieger, SS

Krieger just finished his junior year at Clemson and is regarded as one of the best hitters in the ACC.  The switch-hitter hit .338 as a sophomore and .339 as a junior, but like Mathias, doesn't have a lot of power, hitting just three home runs in 673 college at-bats.  Krieger also has dealt with shoulder issues, as he had offseason surgery to repair the labrum in his throwing shoulder.  Highlights here.

5th Round -- Ka'Ai Tom, OF

A center fielder from the University of Kentucky, Tom projects as a speedy line-drive hitter.  He led the Wildcats this year with 51 RBI's and a .375 average, and also hit five homers and was 15 for 16 on the base paths.

6th Round -- Jonas Wyatt, P

Wyatt is a prep pitcher from California who has shown plus arm strength and athleticism. Just 17 years old, Wyatt has touched as high as 96 mph this year.  He is a San Diego State commit.  Highlights here.

7th Round -- Nathan Lukes, OF

The left-handed hitting Lukes just finished his junior year at Sacramento State.  He hit .336 with nine home runs, 96 RBI's, and 137 runs scored during his college career.  Lukes rates high defensively, racking up seven outfield assists this year with just one error.

8th Round -- Justin Garza, P

Garza is coming off Tommy John surgery to repair a torn UCL, but when healthy, put up very solid numbers for Cal State Fullerton.  His slight build and size (5'10", 170 lbs) are concerns, but has a fastball that sits in the low 90's and a wipeout slider.  Highlights here.

9th Round -- Devon Stewart, P

A 6'2" senior from Cansius, Stewart went 7-7 this year with a 3.84 ERA.  He struck out 94 in 98.1 innings pitched.  Stewart grew up in Canada and said the Tribe plans to develop him as a reliever.

10th Round -- William Strode, P

Strode is a left-hander who just finished his senior year at Florida State.  Standing 6'1" and weighing 185 lbs, Strode has been used primarily as a reliever for the Seminoles.  In 30 appearances this year, Strode was 3-0 with a 1.80 ERA.  He struck out 46 batters in 35 innings pitched.  Strode also has done very well academically at FSU, making several appearances on the Dean's List and ACC All-Academic Team.
