Which Marcum are we going to get tonight?

The fifth starter spot has been a troublesome one for the Cleveland Indians' pitching staff so far this year. We've seen T.J. House, Bruce Chen, and tonight's starter Shaun Marcum struggle to make a positive impact consistently with each start. There is some hope with Marcum however, as he showed in his first start of the season that he can put out a decent game at least once, so tonight just might be the Tribe's night if he can do it again.

With Carlos Santana still tirelessly taking care of newborn "baby Slamtana", the lineup is the usual Carlos-less affair with Brandon Moss handling first base duties and... wait a minute. What is that sound? Some kind of chanting? It sounds like... Jer-ry... Jer-ry... JER-RY, JER-RY, JER-RY!

That's right, Jerry Sands makes his triumphant return to the Cleveland Indians lineup after he made a quick splash earlier in the year. In a big win over Detroit on April 11, Sands racked up three hits, two big doubles and four runs batted in, earning himself a stadium chant as he became an overnight household name in Cleveland. Ok, that's a bit of an exaggeration as he did end up fading out after a couple weeks and eventually was sent back down to the minors when Michael Brantley was back in full swing with the team. But he did leave the Indians with a 141 wRC+ in nine games played, so it'll be fun to see what - if anything - he contributes batting 8th in the lineup.

In case you are wondering what exactly Santana is up to, it should be a familiar to sight for any parents who remember their first week of having a child. He'll be back with the team tomorrow for their series finale in Seattle, which begins at 4:10 p.m. EST.

For those of you who, like me, are on the east coast watching this game: grab your coffee(s) and let's cheer on the Tribe until the wee hours of the morning. For those you on the west coast: enjoy your 7 p.m. start time.
