The Indians are the hottest they've been all season, having won six games in a row to climb out of last place and to within striking distance of a .500 record. The Rangers have had a very similar season, dropping way in the standings, but currently riding a substantial (five-game) winning streak into this series.

Today's Lineups

Delino DeShields Jr. - CF Jason Kipnis - 2B
Shin-Soo Choo - RF Carlos Santana - 1B
Prince Fielder - DH Michael Brantley - LF
Adrian Beltre - 3B Brandon Moss - RF
Josh Hamilton - LF David Murphy - DH
Mitch Moreland - 1B Lonnie Chisenhall - 3B
Elvis Andrus - SS Jose Ramirez - SS
Carlos Corporan - C Roberto Perez - C
Tommy Field - 2B Michael Bourn - CF
Phil Klein - RHP Shaun Marcum - RHP

Yan Gomes gets a day off, which is no surprise, given that he's just returned from the DL and still looks a little rusty.

Fingers crossed that Shaun Marcum can continue to pitch well, because that'd give the Tribe a really exciting starting rotation, one good enough to potentially overcome the team's shoddy defense and keep opponents from scoring many runs this season.
