Shaun Marcum will get his first opportunity to start a major-league game since 2013. He was added to the 25-man roster earlier today (with Zach Walters optioned to Columbus to make room for him). TJ House is probably going to make his final rehab start tonight, so this may be Marcum's only opportunity to start a game. Shaun has pitched very well for Columbus, and specifically in his last two starts (15 innings, 1 ER, 12 SO, 3 BB), and perhaps if tonight's start is a success, House will be optioned to Columbus when he's ready to come off the DL.

Carlos Rodon will be making the start, his first against the Indians. He faced Cleveland earlier this season in a relief appearance, and the Tribe scored two runs off him in 2.1 innings. The 22-year-old prospect, who was the third player chosen in last year's draft, will be making his third MLB start.

Another factor in tonight's game will be the weather. As of 6 PM Eastern the tarp is out on the field in Chicago, but perhaps the rain will clear out before gametime. But even if the rain does stop, it will feel more like March than May at US Cellular; the gametime temperature will be around 50 degrees, and will feel more like 40.
