Friday's contest showcases two veteran left handed pitchers who seem to to be trending in opposite directions.

While both didn't break camp in the majors, it's been Texas' Wandy Rodriguez who has been surprisingly effective so far this year. In four starts and 23 and 1/3 innings, Rodriguez has a 2.70 ERA and 22 strikeouts. In his last start, Rodriguez allowed just one run over six innings.

The Tribe's Bruce Chen has only one MLB start this year and it was a performance to forget. He gave up six runs on 10 hits in just four innings in a loss to the Twins. It was not guaranteed that Chen would get another start with the Indians, and it's certainly safe to assume that Chen is pitching for his job in tonight's outing.
