• Terry Francona has finally noticed that Jose Ramirez is struggling mightily at the Major League level. "On Tuesday night, the manager finally admitted to being worried about Ramirez's confidence level ... Right now, I think he's definitely pressing a little bit, and I understand it."

Another Yan Gomes update! He ran through some agility drills and ran the bases. Unfortunately, he won't be worth 11.8 WAR after he returns.

Chen in 'pen: For now at least, Bruce Chen is available out of the Indians bullpen. The 5th starter debacle is still being debated.

• The Indians are 4-1 when Danny Salazar pitches in a game this year, 8-4 when Cody Allen pitches and 4-2 when Carlos Carrasco does. Those are the only 3 players on the roster who are above .500. (McAllister, Bauer, Holt @ .500)

• Yadier Molina left last night's game with upper back tightness.

• Francona had a discussion with his outfielders regarding playing time

Yesterday in Tribe history, Asdrubal Cabrera turned an unassisted triple play. And the man pointing him to the base was in Cleveland to face the Indians.

MLB News and Notes

• Mets Prospect Extraordinaire Noah Syndergaard made his major league debut last night, and gave up 3 runs in 5.1 innings, all in the 6th. Based on his 5.06 ERA, the clecommer Mets fans certainly will be calling him SyndergAAArd.

• Justin Masterson gave up 6 runs in just 2.1 innings and now has an ERA of 6.37. Drew Pomeranz beat him, pitching 7 innings of 2-run ball.

• Troy Tulowitzki is considering asking the Rockies for a trade. The Cardinals, Yankees and Mets are supposedly the most interested teams.

• Kris Bryant, who's really starting to heat up, hit a triple and a home run yesterday in a Cubs win.

• The Mets and Padres seem to line up well for a trade
