Cleveland Indians vs Toronto Blue Jays

Here's hoping a new month leads to better baseball.

The Indians turn to Carlos Carrasco in the second game of their home series against the Toronto Blue Jays. Carrasco is coming off his worst start of the year, allowing five runs in just 4 1/3 innings. He enters with a 4.60 ERA but owns the American League's third highest strikeout rate (34.3 percent of batters faced).

The Blue Jays counter with lefty Mark Buehrle. Buehrle is 3-1 on the year with a 4.94 ERA. He is a soft-tosser who's fastball sits at a pedestrian 85 mph. He's thrown more change ups this year (153!) than any other pitch, so patience is a must for Tribe hitters.

Surprisingly, Lonnie Chisenhall, who bats seventh tonight, has hit two home runs and has driven in six in only eight at-bats against Buehrle. Ryan Raburn, batting sixth, also has two career home runs off of Buehrle.
