We've had two days to stew over what happened Monday night, and never has the next game taken so long to get here. Tonight the Indians will be once again sending to the mound a pitcher who has just signed a life-altering contract. Yesterday the Indians and Carlos Carrasco finalized a contract that could keep Carrasco in Cleveland through the 2020 season. Carrasco was dominant down the stretch in 2014 (1.30 ERA in his final 10 starts - 69.0 IP), and because of that has gone from a pitcher who pitched only in blowouts to a key part of the rotation not only this year but for years to come.

The Indians will attempt to score their first run of the season tonight; they'll try to get it against Scott Feldman, who is in Year 2 of what's looking like a pretty decent contract for the Astros. Last year he started 29 games for the Astros, threw 180.1 innings and posted a 104 ERA+. He is right-handed, but more importantly, not as good as Dallas Keuchel.

Update: Michael Brantley is a late scratch with back stiffness. Mike Aviles will replace him in left field.
