Indians turn to Carrasco in hopes of rebound against White Sox

It can't get much uglier than yesterday's game

Usually after a devastating loss, I'd say something here like "we'll look to [today's starter] to right the ship," but so far starting pitchers not named T.J. House are the only good thing we've got going for us. Today's game features Carlos Carrasco against Chicago's Hector Noesi. Cookie left his last start without recording an out in the first inning, thanks to being struck in the jaw by a comebacker. Miraculously, he avoided serious injury and is poised and ready to dominate once again. Here's today's lineup:

Today's Lineups

CLEVELAND INDIANS CHICAGO WHITE SOX
Michael Bourn - CF Adam Eaton - CF
Jason Kipnis - 2B Melky Cabrera - LF
Michael Brantley - LF Jose Abreu - 1B
Carlos Santana - 1B Adam LaRoche - DH
Brandon Moss - RF Avisail Garcia - RF
David Murphy - DH Conor Gillaspie - 3B
Lonnie Chisenhall - 3B Alexei Ramirez - SS
Roberto Perez - C Tyler Flowers - C
Jose Ramirez - SS Micah Johnson - 2B
Carlos Carrasco - RHP Hector Noesi - RHP

Carrasco joins Corey Kluber and Trevor Bauer as one of the few bright spots in the early-goings of 2015. Noesi lasted just four and two thirds innings in his first outing of the season, getting pulled due to pitch count despite a solid performance. Maybe with Michael Brantley back in the lineup and the hot fire that is Roberto Perez, we can force Noesi out early and get to the Sox' bullpen. Which, I mean, might or might not be a good thing. Who knows.
