The Indians have been awfully disappointing so far this season, compiling a 4-7 record based in large part on having arguably the worst offense in the American League so far. Starting this series against the Pale Hose off with a victory would be a nice way to begin righting the ship.

Today's Lineups

CLEVELAND INDIANS CHICAGO WHITE SOX
Jason Kipnis - 2B Adam Eaton - CF
Mike Aviles - CF Melky Cabrera - LF
Michael Brantley - LF Jose Abreu - 1B
Carlos Santana - 1B Adam LaRoche - DH
Ryan Raburn - DH Avisail Garcia - RF
Jerry Sands - RF Conor Gillaspie - 3B
Lonnie Chisenhall - 3B Alexei Ramirez - SS
Brett Hayes - C Geovany Soto - C
Jose Ramirez - SS Micah Johnson - 2B
Trevor Bauer - RHP John Danks - LHP

Brett Hayes makes his first start, and Michael Bourn gets his first day off, with Kipnis moving into the leadoff spot. Not sure what to make of Aviles in center, though a few thoughts cross my mind. There was a time when Brantley would have slid over if Bourn were sitting for a game, but it seems that time has passed.
