It's the first Saturday home game of the season, and the fans are in for a real treat. It's the battle of the aces, as Corey Kluber takes on David Price. Price needs no introductions - a four-time All-Star and 2012 Cy Young winner, he's one of the league's best pitchers in the past decade. He's also a lefty, but fortunately not one of those annoying soft-tossing lefties. In fact, the Indians have actually managed to avoid being incredibly dominated by him in the past, so let's hope that, uh, trend continues.
On the hill for the Indians is another guy who needs no introduction: Klubot. Until Zach McAllister's meltdown yesterday, Corey Kluber was the Indians "worst" starter so far. On Opening Day, he gave up two runs and struck out seven over 7 1/3 innings, but took the loss because the offense was terrible. Seems like the bats have woken up *slightly* lately, but the lack of Michael Brantley is still concerning. Jerry Sands was called up to solve the outfield puzzle temporarily, but there is still a disturbing abundance of Mike Aviles in the top of the order.
Regardless, I don't think anyone is going to be hitting all that much today. Prepare for a pitcher's dual of epic proportions. LGT!
