Cleveland Indians vs Detroit Tigers

We've got a few exciting things going for us today. First, the Indians have a winning record. We have already seen some great pitching performances and an almost no-hitter. We're also predicted by many columnists and experts to make the playoffs and go deep into October. Finally, it's our home opener. Exciting indeed!
Into town comes our Central division rival, the Detroit Tigers. While the Tigers look somewhat vulnerable this year, they are off to a hot start after a three game sweep of the Minnesota Twins.
Zach McAllister, the man of many nicknames, will start on the mound for the Tribe. McAllister had a solid spring, finishing with a 2.84 ERA in 25 1/3 innings. His spring also included a very encouraging stat line of 28 strikeouts to only 4 walks.
New acquisition Alfredo Simon gets the ball for Detroit. Simon struggled at the end of last season with the Cincinnati Reds and again this spring, but did earn an All-Star trip last year due to his amazing first half. He doesn't throw hard, instead relying on movement and location to stay ahead of hitters.
