This post is part of a series allowing the LGT community to weigh in with their predictions for the 2015 season. Bragging rights are at stake! There will be two separate contests, one for hitters and one for pitchers. Last year's contest was scored against the field, however, this year's points system will work relative to the stats - the closer to final number in each category, the more points you can earn, despite what other participants predict. You need not submit predictions for every single player in order to win, but doing so will increase your chances to win.
For position players, you'll be asked to predict each player's innings pitched (IP), wins (W), ERA, WHIP, strikeout rate (K/9), and walk rate (BB/9). For relief pitchers there will be saves instead of wins.
Comments for each post will remain active until the night of Sunday, April 5th, 2015.

The Predictions
I hate projections. No, wait, that's not right. I love them. But I reserve the right to say they're totally wrong. Computers don't know, man! But seriously, I'm not sure how a projection systems that see a 24 year old pitcher who has improved every since year doesn't improve again. He gets worse. Not much worse if you're ZiPS, but significantly worse if you're Steamer. Steamer even thinks he'll be luckier and still much worse!
What I Think
Steamer thinks he's going to walk more, but Trevor's spring has shown the opposite. I trust strikeouts and walks more than any other stat in Spring Training and Trevor has not done anything to quell my optimism. The homers, I don't care about. The triples, I don't care about. One walk in all of spring? I care about that. And you should, too! I know I've got Carrasco's projection as much better than Bauer's but I still have Bauer as my "breakout candidate" given how big of turn he'll make. I know Cookie had an odd year, but she showed for a sustained duration what I think he'll show this year. Bauer will finally show us a sustained duration this year - it will be beautiful. This is not a prank.
