Indians take on Brewers in Saturday's Cactus League action

Zach mcAllister will start for the Indians. With Danny Salazar having been sent to Triple-A, the path is relatively clear for McAllister, who has pitched pretty well this spring (3.21 ERA). So long as Zach does reasonably well today and in his final start of the spring next week, I think he'll be in the starting rotation for April.

Today's Indians starting lineup:

  2. Jason Kipnis 2B
  3. David Murphy RF
  4. Yan Gomes C
  5. Lonnie Chisenhall 3B
  6. Ryan Raburn LF
  7. Jesus Aguilar 1B
  8. Jerry Sands DH
  9. Jose Ramirez SS

The roster continues to be trimmed, getting us closer and closer to the 25-man team we'll see on Opening Day... which is now only nine days away!

In a bit of Tribe news: Carlos Carrasco has left the team to be with his wife for the birth of their child. He was supposed to start on Sunday, but will be pushed back. I expect eh'll be back in time to pitch on Thursday or Friday, keeping him on track to start the second game of the regular season.
