Josh Tomlin makes just his second start of the spring, having thrown just four innings so far. He was scratched from his first start with shoulder soreness, but so far it hasn't been an issue since his return. The Little Cowboy is competing for one of the two open rotation spots, and you'd have to think Danny Salazar has the other locked up, so a good start today will go a long way for Tomlin.
There's no word yet on which other pitchers are schedule to go today, but the starting lineup is as follows:
Today's Indians starting lineup:
- Michael Bourn (CF)
- David Murphy (DH)
- Lonnie Chisenhall (3B)
- Ryan Raburn (RF)
- Jesus Aguilar (1B)
- Ryan Rohlinger (SS)
- Brett Hayes (C)
- Destin Hood (LF)
- Michael Martinez (2B)
Jason Kipnis is again conspicuous by his absence. Aside from Bourn and Chisenhall, the rest of the lineup is a who's who of NRIs and guys fighting for bench spots. If that doesn't get you hyped enough for the regular season, maybe this will:
