After completing their 30-game regular season schedule, Clint Frazier and the Scottsdale Scorpions are getting ready to play for the Arizona Fall League Championship. The Scorpions--who features prospects from the Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, Minnesota Twins, and San Francisco Giants--finished the season at 18-12 and with a .762 team OPS, just .002 shy of the league-leading Glendale Desert Dogs.

The Surprise Scorpions are composed of players from the Kansas City Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals, and Texas Rangers. Their big star power comes from players like Jurickson Profar (Rangers) who is playing designated hitter in tonight's contest, Yankees catching prospect Gary Sanchez, and Bubba Starling--who the Kansas City Royals recently added to their 40-man roster to protect from next month's Rule 5 draft.

The big draw for Indians fans is, of course, organizational No. 2 prospect Clint Frazier, who slashed .281/.347/.438 with  two home runs in 22 games this fall. Like he did in the AFL Fall Stars game, Frazier will be leading off when the game kicks off at 3:00 p.m. EST. Another Indians prospect to keep your eye on is third baseman Yandy Diaz. Depending on what the Indians do throughout the rest of the offseason and how Diaz performs in 2016, he could potentially see action as soon as next season. At the very least, we should be seeing him in an Indians uniform in 2017. Frazier will be leading off today, which he has done a lot of in the AFL, but Diaz will be starting the game on the bench in favor of Tigers prospect Dominic Ficociello.

It's not a lot, but here are a couple recorded at-bats from the Scorpions' regular season to get a quick glimpse of Frazier of Diaz before tonight's championship game.

Other top prospects on the Scorpions include shortstop Christian Arroyo (Giants), first baseman Sam Travis (Red Sox), and pitcher Nick Burdi (Twins). Scottsdale is looking for third AFL Championship with a win tonight, their first since 2010.

The Arizona Fall League Championship game begins at 3:00 p.m. EST and is airing on MLB Network and MLB.com simultaneously.
