The World Series is set to begin on Tuesday, so until then it's time to talk about things past and things to come.

Clint Frazier's success in leadoff spot continues in Arizona Fall League | MLB.com

Frazier, who has yet to appear in a AA game, is among the top hitters in the AFL so far. Through 7 games, he's hitting .393/.469/.697. Keep in mind that the AFL is very much a hitter's league, as very few top pitching prospects go there, while the six teams are packed with the best upper-level hitting prospects.

A trade of Kyle Schwarber for a pitcher would seem to make sense from the Indians' perspective. From the Cubs' perspective, they may first try to just buy some top-flight pitching this winter, whether it be David Price or Jordan Zimmerman. Should they lose out on the top-tier pitching, then dealing Schwarber, who looks to fit better on an AL roster would make sense for them.

Also in Meisel's column he mentions that Jesus Aguilar is up for one of Minor-League Baseball's 2015 awards, in the Play of the Year category. Jesus pulled off a hidden ball trick this season:

Report: Amaro to become Red Sox first-base coach

Ruben Amaro Jr. has landed on his feet - sort of. The former Philadelphia GM is now going to be an on-field coach for the Boston Red Sox. Amaro has no coaching experience of any kind, but perhaps his skills are more suited for that than the front office.
