Baseball is almost over in Cleveland, as the Indians start their final series of the year on Friday, hosting the Boston Red Sox.
Josh Tomlin looks to finish the season on a high note and rebound from the battering he took against the Kansas City Royals in his last start. Tomlin allowed five earned runs in just 3 2/3 innings and didn't record a strike out. The right-hander does own a 3.03 ERA over 59 2/3 innings this season, with 52 strikeouts and a very impressive 0.81 WHIP.
The Red Sox counter with rookie Henry Owens. The left-hander is just 23 years old and stands a healthy 6'6". Owens is 4-3 on the year with a 3.84 ERA over 58 2/3 innings. He entered the year as one of Boston's highest ranked prospects and hasn't disappointed much.
