The ALCS heads into Game 2 with the Royals up 1-0 in the series after their win on Friday night. On the mound for the Blue Jays is David Price, who is seeing his first action since October 12 when he strangely came into the game when the Jays had a six-run lead over the Texas Rangers. His only start this postseason was Game 1 against the Rangers when he threw for seven innings and allowed five runs on five hits.

Kansas City will be turning to Yordano Ventura to help them jump out to a two-game lead in the series. Ventura finished 2015 with a 4.08 ERA and 156 in his second full season as a starter for the Royals. So far in the postseason he has allowed six runs in seven combined inning over his starts against the Houston Astros in the ALDS.

It is odd to see a New York-based team in the playoffs and not have everyone rooting against them, but that is what's happening with the surprisingly amazin' Mets. New York's extremely deep--yet inexperienced--rotation kicks off with staff ace Matt Harvey taking on Jon Lester, who has pitched a game or two in the playoffs over the course of his career.
