Judging by this lineup, you'd think the Indians would still be in the hunt for a playoff spot. Still, we'll probably see a lot of late-game substitutions as Terry Francona gives some of the September callups some playing time.
Things to watch for tonight:
- Michael Brantley is one hit short of 200 for the season, a mark that hasn't been reached by a Cleveland player since Kenny Lofton did it in 1996.
- This might be Jason Giambi's final MLB game.
- Carlos Carrasco currently has a .989 WHIP (Walks+Hits/9 Innings), which currently ranks 11th all-time. Of the pitchers ahead of him, only Gaylord Perry (1972) pitched before the mound was lowered.
